In it’s current state it is a derelict way station. In its heyday, the compound was integral to the country’s survival. The now abandoned building has served many purposes over the years, including the staging point of several rebellions. Before El Presidente’s triumph, it has been said that this was the very warehouse where he and his fellow rebels laid siege to the last faction. Upon their victory, they reinforced the compound with several entry points like the rear stairwell, and with every trap they could think of fought off the now rebel scum who sought to regain control. They never did.
