Formally called OneEleven, this luxury residential tower went up on Chicago’s riverfront in 2014 after a period of stagnation left it as a 26-story husk for some months. The completed tower rises to 60 stories (190m), and its blocky glass structure perfectly reflects the river below as well as its neighboring skyscrapers. Waterview Tower is among a new style of bright and blue glass monoliths dotting the downtown skyline.
