Wake Island
During the mid-1930s, Pan American Airlines established the remote coral atoll of “Wake Island” as a key stopping ground along their famed China Clipper service, while the US Navy established a military base and docking port. Throughout the remainder of the 20th century, the island had been passed between the hands of commercial airlines and the US millitary. But now times have changed.
The US Military has packed up and the island has now been left vacant for you to develop. Perhaps someday you could make a lovely island getaway out of it.

NOTE: This map has NO external highway or rail connections. In order to develop the island, you’ll have to build a cargo harbor (for goods) and your choice of a harbor or an airport (for people) when you first start.
