Surface Painter
Are you tired of endless list of filler assets cluttering your parks panel and exhausting your buildings limit? Then this mod is for you!
This is a plugin for my Extra Lanscaping Tools mod that allows to paint terrain with standard decorative types of surface (pavement, gravel, field, ruining). Note that this mod doesn’t provide any custom textures. And it won’t provide any custom textures/surfaces because it’s not possible. It simply tells the game to render pavement, fields etc. in painted areas.
Make sure that both Extra Landscaping Tools and Surface Painter are enabled in Content Manager before complaining. Also, this mod requires the latest version of Extra Lanscaping Tools to function so you can try re-verify local game cache if nothing else helps.
Tool is available through ‘Surface Tool’ button on main toolbar. Use left mouse button to paint and right mouse button to erase.
This mod also provides ‘no override’ mode (press Shift key while painting). With that mode surface tool becomes aware of surface under buildings, trees and roads and doesn’t override surface in such places.
This mod doesn’t conflict with other existing mods and can be safely disabled at any time. But painted surface will return to stock appearance if you disable this mod.
