Shellharbour Australia. Beaches! Rivers! Densely Forested Hills! Decorated intersections! Eucalyptus Trees with Koalas! Okay, no koalas but there are Eucalyptus trees!
Can handle a large city. Just south of Wollongong, this map has a lot more breathing room than Wollongong map.

THEME
A. Optional Monte Belo Theme – Temperate Awesomeness!
This map has been programmed with Mark Fire’s new 4k Monte Belo map theme. You can use an LUT and/or a daylight mod to get it just the way you like it because it’s pretty flexible. It is a larger file size than my themes, so check out the map theme page info to decide. My lower end laptop runs it without any issues, though, so you should be just fine.
Check the Monte Belo theme page for suggested LUTs that go well with it.
B. For Regular Theme – When you start a city on this map you will get a “warning!” box. Have no fear, I think they mistranslated “please note…” ? Just hit okay and you will get the default temperate theme. Nothing will explode, have no fear.
TREES
The trees are required unless you have Unlimited Trees Mod which can replace the ones you don’t want The options setting should be either replace or delete missing trees in case of error.
Why wouldn’t you want them? ? For additional trees found in this area like Norfolk Island Pine, Jacaranda, Tree Fern, etc, see Mr Maison’s Nature Collection

You start off in Shellharbour City Centre and the shoreline of Lake Illawarra, which has a good strong flow on your shoreline to keep fresh water flowing and your sewage flushed away.
CITY TRAFFIC TIPS
10/23/2016 TRAFFIC UPDATE – The traffic was just too heavy for me to be happy with it. It was already heavy without a city. Therefore, I added bypass outer loops for highways *and* rail which do not exist in real life in Shellharbour. Sorry to the locals – this was for game play reasons.
It takes the neighbor to neighbor traffic of three connections off your beginning highway one neighbor to neighbor connection does run through your start area (NW / NE neighbor)
If you started a city already, not a problem. Just take a look at the new image labeled update and see the bright colored lines that show where those new bypasses are, and just add them into your city ?
