Sewage Treatment Pump
Treats waste water and pumps the treated water back into your city’s water system. Does not need to be placed near water, just need a road connection. This asset DOES have a working connection to the water system unlike many of the other water assets on the Workshop.
Here are the stats for anyone interested:
240,000 units of water recycled per week
280,000 units of water treated per week
$25,000 initial building cost
$800 per week in upkeep.
This also generates garbage, which the other two do not. This is to simulate the fact that not everything can be treated, some solid waste would have to be removed and transported to the dump/incinerator.
To compare the original water pump generates about 120,000 units for about $2,500 and $240 per week in upkeep…while the original treatment plant handled about 160,000 units of waste water per week and cost about $15,000 with an upkeep of $640. So this costs about $5,000 more in intial build costs for the same amouont of water input and slightly better sewage treatment, but is more cost effective to keep running longterm, costing only $800 per week, while the two water pumps and sewage tretment would run you $1,120 per week.
