Paramaribo – Suriname
Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname lies at the Suriname river. The map itself is very flat, there are no hills in sight, and it is surrounded by forests. I have made two highway connections, one in the direction of Onverwacht and the other in the direction of Groningen. There is a railway going south, which in reality is planned, but not yet constructed. There are three spots of oil and ore at somewhat random locations. Also included on the map is the area of Nieuw Amsterdam to the northeast, across the river. I have used a heightmap and googlemaps for reference, since I’ve never had the pleasure to visit the city.
