Introducing the first in my Eucalyptus series, the Mountain Ash aka Eucalyptus Regnans aka Swamp Gum or Stringy Gum.
This species is native to Tasmania and southeastern Australia. It’s the tallest flowering plant and one of the tallest trees in the world.
I plan on making another version at the max height nearing 100 meters but that will only be useful in the wilderness of our maps.

UPDATE 8/24/2016 I thought the leaves were too dark so I brightened them up a little.

2,515 tris 1024 texture

As usual, I strongly suggest Boformer’s Random Tree Rotation mod

Another suggestion is to use LOD Toggler for screenshots as this tree looks much better at LOD distance

Also BloodyPenguin’s No Radioactive Mod
And Prop and Tree Anarchy

Sharp Textures mod really makes a difference in how the foliage looks in game
