Isengard (European) V2 / Glenorchy, New Zealand
This fun Europe theme map includes all an up-and-coming dark wizard needs: a giant area of ore in the exact position of Isengard in the movie, the ability to flood the entire section of Isengard tower and its industrial nightmare should you wish to do this, and huge forests, Ents not currently available. I guess they’re asleep?
This map is not exactly like Glenorchy because I had to widen the valley, raise the mountains, etc etc, to get landscape to display nicely in-game (more like the photos and the movie), and optimize it for the game (wide flattened valley, but if you google Isengard I think it looks pretty close.
Will the forces of good keep your city beautiful and natural (it is a nice area!), or will you succumb to the powers of the dark lord and start destroying the beauty of the land?

The Ents are giant Coast Redwoods found here. I love these trees even though there is an LOD problem. I hope a solution can be found. We need more trees!
Update details: Hydro dam w/ absurdly powerful tsunami. Originally, getting the dam to just the right height to reenact the flooding scene was just too difficult, so I made a change here that will not only make it easier, it will make the flood truly epic. Takes a very long time to get the giant valley to fill up behind the dam, but the flood is well worth it. Look for “Isengard V2” in your list of maps to make sure you have the new version.
