Grand Central: A modern, futuristic solution for your transportation needs.
So what’s this thing ?
Grand Central is a model which was drawn by me on the paper then modelled for Cities Skylines. It doesn’t exist in real life.
It has generic radius of default station, but since it was created by Sub Buildings enabler, it will boost its nearby in terms of transportation happiness greatly.
Features:
– It’s modular: You can use extension modules to create a train station for your needs. Use train station extension module add more platforms. I will release more modules for the station in future, such as LRT, tram, bus and MOM stations.
– It’s large: Compatible with long trains, it has maximum station lenght (18-20 units)
– It’s versatile: I left clearances in the front, big enough to fit a metro station, also main station has 2 one way train tracks, which has 1 track of clearence, in case you want to pass transit track between for cargo and passenger trains.
– It’s clean: It has reduced noise pollution, but it’s more concentrated on local area. It requires however more electricty to run properly.
– It creates jobs !: It requires approx. 300 workers from different classes.
Recommended Mods:
– Road Anarchy: If you need to put a 3rd track between one ways.
– Prop Snapping: I didn’t add billboards and stuff, decorate your station on your own by using Prop Snapping mod.
Technical Details:
– 1024^2 for Base, 64^2 for LOD model.
– 16,136 Tris (Main Module), ~7’300 (Train Extension Module)
Known Issues:
– Requires flat terrain
– That’s it.
