Cities: Skylines Mods |

Cross The Line

Allows to build your infrastructure (e.g. highways) outside of city limits

You need this mod if you want to edit highways, railways, trees, electricity lines and water/sewage lines outside of city limits and/or 25 tile area. This mod also allows you to place buidlings that don’t require to be built roadside anywhere on the map. This mod intentionally doesn’t support zoning outside of city borders so you can only build roads that don’t have zoning outside of the city borders.

Optional requirements:

Unlimited Outside Connections if you want to add outside connections (like highways or railways) in-game,
No Border Limit Camera (or some similar mod) to be able to move your camera freely,
My improved version of NoPillars to place regularilly zonable roads (like basic 2-lane road), intersections and buildings with roads outside city’s boundaries . Use its ‘No Zoning’ feature for that.

Note: This mod was designed to be compatible with most mods. If you find any conflicts (that’s possible if a mod completely replaces GameAreaManager, BuildingTool, NetTool, RoadTool or TreeTool) please report – I’ll fix that if possible. I think the only completely incompatible mod is the original vesion of 81 Tiles.

Limitations:

At this point this mod doesn’t support constructing buildings that consume water outside of 25 tiles area. If you want to build a water source or a water treatment plant or dam outside of 25 tile area you need to use my version of 81 Tiles.

To be implemented in following updates:

– Add a button to enable/disable this mod in-game (to improve performance when this mod’s functionality is not needed right at the moment)
– Patch all roads types to add outside connections to them

This mod uses awesome detours C# library[github.com] by cope. Without it, this mod would’ve been impossible to make.
