4 Way Train Track Intersection

Description:

A compact 4 way intersection allowing trains to change lines and directions without large space wasteful loops, bridges and switch backs.

Two main lines cross at a 90 degree angle to each other. Each main line is linked to the other main line with short 45 degree angle links. This enables a train to either continue forward on the same line or to change lines and to go left or right direction.

It can be easilly modified from a 4 way intersection to a 3 way by simply deleting the track portions that are not needed.
