The Marathon was introduced in September of 1960. The car saw service all the way up to 1982, when Checker did eventually exit the automobile industry.

According to the Checker wiki page the 1965 version sported a Chevrolet OHV-6 and small-block V8 engine.

The taxi model of this car has been featured in many of our favourite games, movies, and tv shows. However, the standard version will likely become renown because it will be used in mafia 3, which is made by 2k and hangar 13.
