Hide Problems AKA Politician’s Mod
REQUESTED MOD
Ignore all your cities problems! Just like a real politician!
This mod provides a hotkey combo to hide/show problem notification icons.
It also hides non-negative icons, as far as I know, such as level up notifications, happiness smileys, etc. So the title could be a bit misleading in that sense.
It doesn’t remove the problems, so use this at your own risk. All it does is hide the icons.
Press CTRL + SHIFT + P (CMD + SHIFT + P on Mac) while playing to toggle Problem Notification Icons on and off.
Useful for people who don’t want to be distracted by the sea of problem icons while they play, or while they stream on twitch or whatever.
The mod remembers your settings across sessions, so if you turn Icons off during play, then quit the game, they will still be off next time you open a city.
This mod shouldn’t conflict with any other mods, please let me know if you find any problems.
THE PROBLEMS ARE STILL THERE, YOU SHOULD ADDRESS THEM!!!
This mod only hides the icons, it doesn’t make the problem itself go away. If you use it you’ll want to turn icons back on periodically to address your cities’ issues.
I recommend using my No Abandonment mod together with this to avoid mass abandonment in case you forget to check your problems :p
I set the hotkey to CTRL+SHIFT+P not knowing if any other mods already use this key combo. Please let me know if any other mods have this key combo and I’ll change it.
